One of the favorite books in our house right now is Too Many Toys By David Shannon. It's a book about a little boy having too many toys just like the title says. Our house is definitely at that point. As I read each page I pause and think "yep that's us."
Jumping thoughts. You know during birthday and Christmas time when little kids open presents they are more interested in the box than the present and you think to yourself "I should have just wrapped an empty box?" Well that's the idea behind Too Many Toys. As I mentioned this is the favorite book in the house. Seth has us read it every night before bed. I pretty much have it memorized and Seth does too. One day we had boxes laying around our house and decided to recreate the end of the book. The boys loved it. If you haven't read the book go check it out. If you have you will appreciate the boxes matching the one in the book.
