How Do I Love Thee...

FALL, AUTUMN!!!!  Can I just let you know that I LOVE it!  I was feeling quite ripped off this year because we had very few fall worthy days.  We had hot days, rainy days, and cold days.  We were totally missing those perfect jeans, t-shirt, throw on a coat in the evening days.  I guess we had one or two here and there, but I needed my fall.  It did come a little later as in right now at the end of November.  We are currently having beautiful weather.  I was fortunate enough to get some pictures back on the few nice days in October as our leaves quickly changed.  Those of you who aren't fans of the east coast this is why I am willing to put up with the bugs and humidity.  I love trees and all the beauty they show off year round.

We have daily visitors in our backyard.

I know those hunter out there are drooling, but this is part of the beauty we get to enjoy because of the trees.

Two of the best things the leaves provide are cute pictures and loads of leaf throwing fun.

Seth insisted I take a picture of him standing there holding the rake.

The leaves made the trampoline so slippery.  The kids had a blast.

Andelyne was even able to hold here own with her two crazy brothers.

Some more of my cute little girl

Fall Soccer Comes To A Close

Soccer this fall turned out to be really fun.  Tade's entire team was from his grade at school, all the parents got along, they had a good couch, they all played really well, and Tade scored a game winning goal.

Halloween

Our Halloween weekend began with Tade's school Halloween party.  I was one of the room parents so I got to be in charge of the party.  It turned out pretty good.  I liked doing the party with the second graders.  They can do much more fun activities and listen better to directions.  The worst part of the parade and party was the I forgot my camera!  I NEVER forget my camera.  Fortunately there was another mom kind enough to take some pictures.  I'm just waiting to get them.  So until then just enjoy the other fun Halloween pictures.

I got them, here are the school pictures.

Saturday evening of Halloween weekend was our ward trunk or treat.  We combined with the other ward in our building.  It was supposed to be outside, but when we get a random day of snow in October plans change.  Everything got moved inside which turned out fine.  People just set up in the hallways and passed out candy after we had the kids to a costume parade in the gym.

My three cuties...

...my BYU cheerleader...

...Ash the Pokemon trainer with Pikachu on his back.  This is a costume we has to create on our own.  Next year Tade needs to pick something that is easier to put together...

...and my adorable (I mean fierce) dragon.

We had donuts for everyone to eat.  The were so good.  Actually writing this is making me really want a donut.

Loading up on candy in the halls.  They came home with so much candy.

Andelyne was trying to sneak away with her buddy Kate's candy.  With two older brothers she's had to learn to fend for herself.

The cutest part of the evening was Andelyne crawling around the WHOLE night chasing little boys.  She has been walking for a LONG time now, but chose crawling as the method of movement for the evening.  She seriously spent the whole night crawling around trying to kiss boys.  This is a bad sign isn't it?

By the end of the night she was worn out.

The night after trunk or treat we carved pumpkins.  When w got our pumpkins we set them on the front porch.  The day before we carved them the squirls decided they were hungry and that they liked pumpkin.  Those are nibble marks on the pumpkin.  In the end they ended up eating the faces off our jack-o-lanterns after Halloween was over.

Seth absolutely loves carving pumpkins.  He has no problem getting messy.

Halloween was a day off school because it was the end of the marking period.  Shelley, Kathleen and I thought it would be fun to get all the kids together and have a halloween party.  We did all sorts of crafts.  These are jars the kids made.  The mod podge is still drying, but they are really cool when they are doing and glowing with candles in them.

Sporting his halloween necklace.

Owen the astronaut.

Our spooky lunch.

Playing unlucky spots.  Just like musical chairs except on cut outs of halloween stuff.

Story time.

Pin the nose on the pumpkin.

That night we went out trick or treating with the Cleaves.  Jake had a late night at work so we thought it would be good to go with friends.  The kids had a great time and got a seriously impressive amount of candy.

The Cleaves brought a wagon for when Roman got tired.  Seth saw the wagon and immediately wanted in.  I told him it was for when his legs got tired.  Seth them proceeded to tell me after each house his legs were tired.  He finally got his turn in the wagon.
