Our second activity of the week was going to the Dulles Town Center. It is a large mall in Virginia. You might be asking yourself what is so great about a mall. Well according to Tade, "this is the BEST mall ever." Spring break this year was not warm at all. So we needed to find indoor activities. At the "best mall ever" there is a train and carousel for toddlers. It just happens I have two of those.
Carrie, Noah, Issac(hiding), Tade, Luke, Seth, Heather
Tade thought this train was awesome. It didn't need any tracks. We just drove around the mall in it. The conductor would toot the whistle when he wanted people to move out of his way. Seth was the most excited of all. He loves trains! Whenever the train would "choo choo" he would get the biggest grin and say "listen." Riding the train was also a great way for the moms to go window shopping with happy kids.
Tade and Luke on the carousel. I think something is wrong with Luke's horse.
It looks like it has issues.
After the train we headed up to the carousel. We had found another hit. Seth could not smile big enough. When the ride was over I was quite dizzy and ready to get off, but Seth wouldn't let go of the pole. He wanted to go again and again. He was crying and screaming "no", but I finally pried him away from the horse. This mall was well worth the trip. Now if we had only had time to shop it would have been a perfect day.
