We were so lucky to have cousins in town for the whole month of December. First Shauna was here with Asher then Scott and Tara came with their family. I don't think any pictures were taken in the few days where they overlapped due to the stomach flu circulating through the house. Tade, Seth, and Andelyne had the best time. I honestly don't know how we would have mad it through winter break without company. The kids played and played. It was great to see how well they all got along.
The first night Brielle, Amy and Even were here was made Cafe Rio. Thanks to Ligia for all the Cafe Rio recipes. They are pretty darn close to the real thing.
These two are awesome together. Pretty much when they get together the disappear for the whole vacation.
Their matching BYU jammies from last Christmas still fit them.
They got bored with the kids games and decided to move onto more challenging games. It was kind of cute watching them as they made up their own rules.
Brielle was introduce to the Nintendo DS and quickly became addicted. Sorry about that Tara :)
Andelyne absolutely adored Amy. For days after they left Andelyne kept asking for Amy. It was so sad, but cute at the same time.
We broke out the moon bounce one day. They kids had such a wonderful time.
That evening we decorated gingerbread. We had two gingerbread houses, a train and Santa's sleigh with reindeer.
This was Amy's favorite part. She just sat there sucking out the frosting tube.
After they were done all Andelyne wanted to so was pick the candy off.
I think the best part of Christmas was hanging out and watching all the cousin interaction. We have such a great group of kids. It was also fun to see my boys do crafts. Brielle and Amy craft all the time, but I have boys and it takes more convincing. Over the break we did all sorts of things. We decorated our own glass Christmas ornaments, decorated a Christmas tree with shrinky dink ornaments, decorated gingerbread, made stained glass, and several other little Christmas crafts. It was fabulous!
I always love a good shout out! And about your last post, allow me to testify that the gym did look amazing!! Job well done, my friend.
